KCAFF Super League: A New Era of Regional Soccer

Another step along the yellow brick road. Or in this case Another step along to becoming the predominate league in Kansas City. It has been announced by the Kansas City Area Football Federation (KCAFF) that Select League members will be eligible for this cross league tournament looking to launch in 2026.

Proposed Tournament Structure

Group Stage

  • 16 teams divided into four groups of four (drawn randomly, with efforts to avoid teams from the same league meeting in the group stage if possible).

  • Each team plays home and away against the other three teams in its group (six matches per team).

  • The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage.

Knockout Stage

  • Quarterfinals: The remaining eight teams compete in two-leg knockout ties.

  • Semifinals: The four winners move on to another two-leg series.

  • Final: A single-match final played at a neutral venue to determine the champion.
